Hey yo!

Four days ago, I planned that I would send a newsletter every week - for 52 weeks in a row. Well, here's the first one!

As with all creative work -- when you start a new project, there are things you have some idea about, and then there are things you figure out on the fly.

As vague as it sounds, I have some idea what this newsletter is gonna be about, other things - I will figure out on the fly as I learn what works and what doesn't.

I will be majorly writing about the following two topics -

  1. Online Business

  2. Personal Growth

..well, that and anything else that revolves around these two topics.

Today, In this first Issue - I am gonna share my three 'WHY's for choosing to be a Digital Creator (and begin this pursuit to build an online business) :

1) because, in this modern world, anyone can leverage - the power of the Internet, build stuff that's useful for the masses - and hence is scalable, and also has an almost negligible cost of distribution.

2) because when you work online - for yourself - You can practically work from anywhere on earth - as long as you have an Internet connection. So many people are already doing it - I find it fancy and want to be part of that tribe.

3) because I have lived the 9-5 life for 6 years - had my share of fun while doing it. Now, I wanna see what's possible and what I can create if I had the freedom to choose what projects I work upon. Also, I want to figure out If can do something more meaningful, more extraordinary while helping people in my way - with my experiments, learnings, and services.

It's been a year. I have made little progress but I am still working in this direction - because I know my 'WHY'

What are you working towards? What's your 'WHY'?

(Feel free to respond to this email, I would love to know what you do and why you do it? )

Btw, To make these newsletters more fun & Informative, I will also share some of my curations from the week. Here’s what I found this week :

🤾‍♂️ Do more of what you love

I wanted to share this reel, I stumbled upon Instagram, It said something like this :

"A lot of people feel burnt out because they are doing too much,

I think you're doing too little of the things that make you feel alive.

You're doing too little of the things that matter in your life"

This makes so much sense to me and it made me think about toxic productivity & hustle culture (I will talk about it in detail some other time)

For now, just wanted to remind you to do things that make you feel alive. :)
